- Candidacy Accreditation
- Institutions who are listed as Candidacy Accreditation have successfully passed the Stage 1 process. (http://www.asicuk.com/the-accreditation-process/)
- Interim Accreditation
- Institutions listed as Interim Accredited have successfully passed through the Stage 1 and Stage 2 (http://www.asicuk.com/the-accreditation-process/) processes and have gained interim accreditation for a period of 12 months.
- Accredited
- Institutions listed as Accredited have successfully passed through all stages of ASIC accreditation (Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 http://www.asicuk.com/the-accreditation-process/) and have gained full accreditation for a period of four years. To gain a satisfactory threshold accreditation, institutions must normally be deemed to satisfy all of the Sub-Areas in all eight Areas of Operation.
- Premier Institution
- Institutions listed as a Premier Institution have successfully passed through all stages of ASIC accreditation (Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 http://www.asicuk.com/the-accreditation-process/) and have gained full accreditation for a period of four years. The award of Premier status is given when (normally) all of the six Areas of Operation capable of being commendable (that is, Areas A, B, C, D, E and G) are graded Commendable.
