We are a Reformed, Confessional seminary: Westminster’s faculty members and trustees share a commitment to the Westminster Standards – which means that the Bible, God’s inerrant word, is front and centre. To encounter the God of the Bible is transformational; it changes us from one degree of glory to another. The conviction that ministers must have their lives shaped by God's true and faithful word runs through every department of the seminary. As Martin Bucer recognised, 'True theology is not theoretical, but practical. The end of it is living; that is, to live a godly life.'
