ASIC working with NOCN

ASIC is an approved NOCN centre and successfully passed its first inspection.

NOCN will also be providing their expert insight into qualifications and tools to enhance educational quality at relevant ASIC Events. At the ASIC UK Regional Conference in June, Marc Wensley, Business Development Manager at NOCN gave an overview of NOCN's ESOL, TESOL and endorsed programmes, along with illustrating the excellent support they offer their centres.

ASIC's Educational Quality Assurance Evaluation Qualification (Level Four)

With center approval, ASIC can teach modules in Teaching and Learning and has developed a new exclusive in-house qualification in Educational Quality Assurance Evaluation. This new Level Four qualification, endorsed by NOCN, has been written and developed by ASIC to train Inspectors in all aspects of quality assurance.

ASIC Quality Assurance Inspector’s Standards consists of two units:

• Unit One: Theory and understanding of external quality assurance
• Unit Two: Inspection, practice, and portfolio

Training will be available to ASIC inspectors (current and new). More information will be released.
