ASIC is trialling a change to its contact hours from Thursday, 13th November 2025, until Monday, 30th January 2026.

This adjustment is aimed at improving support for UK and international institutions operating across multiple time zones. Contact analysis shows that peak demand occurs early in the day, with a higher volume of calls received before the current opening time than later in the working day. To better align with this demand and enhance service availability during peak hours, the ASIC Office will begin taking calls one hour earlier.

Next Steps

A full review will take place at the end of January to assess the trial's impact on service quality and customer satisfaction. A decision on whether to make the new hours permanent will follow.
