International Student Support Award

We have been encouraged to see how much our institutions are doing to support their students throughout the pandemic.

In response, we have launched the International Student Support Award.

Entry is open to both our UK and International Accredited Institutions.

To enter:

Please submit the following to mauriced@asic.org.uk by 17:00 (BST), June 15th 2020.

  • A written submission, of no more than 1,000 words, on what your institution is doing to provide support throughout the crisis, be it academic, wellbeing, or social.
  • You may include up to 5 high-quality images in support of your submission.
  • You may include up to 2 videos in support of your submission.

Please note: There is no fee for entry. If your submission is selected as the winning entry, you may be contacted to provide further information or clarification.

The winner will receive:

  • An ASIC trophy (to be couriered out to your institution).
  • A dedicated International Student Support Feature in our newsletter and promotion across our social channels for 1 month.
  • 2 free tickets for a future ASIC Conference of your choice (not incl. flights/accommodation).
  • An invitation to speak at the Conference on a topic related to Student Support.
  • A certificate for display.

One runner-up will receive:

  • A certificate for display.
  • Feature in ASIC newsletter with accompanying social posts.
  • 1 free ticket for a future ASIC conference of your choice (not incl. flights/ accommodation).
  • We may also award certificates for other outstanding entries and mention your institution in competition-related posts across our social media channels.

ASIC response to Covid-19
