ASIC Accreditation and the Changing Priorities of Quality Assurance in Education

Dr Lawrence Watson (ASIC Qualifications Advisor and Chief Inspector) takes you on an instructive tour of the conditions of registration within the (UK) Office for Students framework; to assess how the ASIC Accreditation process places providers in a strong position to meet evolving QA requirements.

In Part 1 he explores the changing landscape, and recent developments, of quality assurance in international education.

Part 2 takes a tour through the conditions of registration within the (UK) OfS framework to demonstrate how the ASIC Standards of Accreditation puts providers in a strong position to meet evolving QA requirements worldwide. This section covers ASIC Standards and Areas of Operation (here for those outside of the UK) and the first two conditions of the OfS framework.

Part 3 concludes the tour exploring conditions four through to six; summarising how ASIC Accreditation helps our institutions to meet current and future QA requirements in education.
