Samafal was set up in 2005 to provide tuition and support to clients who wish to become British citizens, or seek indefinite leave to remain or meet any other English language requirement relating to renewing their visas.
We are accredited by ASIC and have been delivering ESOL for citizenship for the past 10 years. We have successfully helped more than 10,000 students.
Samafal is one of Trinity’s approved training centres. Apart from English language tuition for the purposes listed above, we also provide computer training and revision courses for students who need help with the Life in the UK test.
Samafal has a system for assessing the students who wish to enrol on our courses and we are very much focused on the fair and secure vetting of the students who wish to access our courses.
Each student takes an initial assessment using diagnostic systems to identify their level of English in speaking, listening and reading and writing.
Samafal has well-qualified tutors and we ensure that all the relevant documents are provided prior to assessment so that we place them into the appropriate course level.
We are an approved test centre for several awarding bodies including ESB and Gatehouse so that students can learn English in preparation for employment as well as improve their communication skills.
Given the traumatised background of many clients seeking settlement in the UK, Samafal has access to educational psychologists and medical professionals and we have set up a referral system so that the students who suffer from serious educational challenges are assessed and identified so that they can ask for medical exemption, where this can be impartially and objectively justified.
The students are assessed for minimum of 3 hours by these professionals and those identified with any educational disability are given a report after 4 weeks.
Occasionally students also need legal advice on how to process their requests. Samafal has contacts with lawyers working in this field.
